Finding Percy
I was laying under the deck on the cold wooden floor, when all of a sudden a cry alerted me. "Land ahead!" yelled a male voice, and I sat up so fast I almost hit Jason in the forehead. "Sorry," he said, holding out a hand. I gladly took it, and he hoisted me up with his firm grip. Jason handed me an Athena helmet and my dagger. I muttered a thanks as one of the Hephaestus kids said we were getting close. Running up the ladder, I rushed to the bow of the ship, clutching the golden figurehead of Festus, squinting my eyes for land. White pillars bordered the grass, and I recognized shapes moving back and forth in a similar pattern, and realized they were guards. With big weapons.
